FAQ

What’s the one thing I should remember about this event?
Well, besides the when and where (Lakenheath Community Center, 12-5)

Are Minors Welcome?
Yes! Minors are allowed in Toffee Club until 8pm, and we’ll almost definitely be done by then.

What happens if there’s a tie for points in a group?
If it has implication on who advances, the players who tied will play one single random race and the finish order will determine the final positions in the group.

Is this a BYOC (Bring Your Own Controller) tournament?
BYOC is encouraged, but not required. We’ll have some controllers on hand, but there’s no guarantee as to what type you’ll get (wiimote/nunchuck, WiiU gamepad, etc), so if possible, you’re definitely better off bringing your own. If you damage a controller that isn’t yours, you will be immediately disqualified from the tournament.

What kind of controller can I bring?
As long as it will connect (easily, without unusual amounts of setup) to a switch, it’s a legal controller.

What is the prize payout?
First place gets $40, second gets $35, and third gets $25.

Can I just come and watch?
Absolutely! Spectators are encouraged, and there’s obviously no cost to observe! The community center has great food and drink, and it’ll be a lot of fun to hang out and see some skillful driving
